We organised three international summer schools. They were based on experiential learning – the process whereby knowledge was created through the transformation of experience, comprising classroom lectures and site visits. Lectures were given prior to the site visits to provide students with the context of the theme and set the parameters.

During the program, the participants receive an assignment that is to be finished by the end of the week. The week itself will provide the participants with the data they need to complete the assignment which can take the form of an advisory report or a specific product such as a training session, informative campaign, a video, etc.
