The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (UWB) is the only public institution of higher education based in the Pilsen Region, Czechia. It was founded in 1991 and draws on its tradition of technical specialisations, which are enriched by disciplines from the humanities, economics, arts and health care. There are 9 faculties, 130 study programmes and around 11,000 students. The Information and Counselling Centre has provided a complete range of services in respect of study, social conditions, psychology, and law to thousands of university students since November 2006.
THUAS has 26,000 students of almost 150 different nationalities. Every student is offered the same opportunities and is subject to the same requirements. Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) is a highly ranked, international research university, based in the dynamic and diverse city of Rotterdam. Founded in 1913, it is currently one the biggest universities of the Netherlands with a student population of 29,000 and a research community of circa 1,400. Scholars and students in seven faculties, including ISS, and two institutions work on global social challenges in the areas of health, wealth, governance and culture. The quality of research at Erasmus University, named after Rotterdam-born humanist and theologian Erasmus, is reflected in its consistent top-100 position in most major university rankings.
Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (CPU) is a public, modern educational, scientific and artistic institution in western Slovakia. The main goal of CPU is to provide a university education, promote creative scientific research and encourage artistic activities. CPU has five faculties and 6921 students, of which 5451 are enrolled in full-time study. With more than sixty years of educational tradition, the Faculty of Education, CPU in Nitra, is one of the oldest units of today‘s CPU.
