Each of our four institutions struggles with making inclusive learning environments a reality. We recognize inherent inequalities in the system that have a negative impact on student success outcomes. From the Netherlands to the Czech and Slovak Republics, to Ghana, we all recognize unequal opportunities and learning experiences. Whether disabilities, migrant heritage, lower income, or other, we all recognize and are committed to seeking for answers so we can do better.

Working together, the partner institutions wish to help rewrite the narrative of inclusive education in Central Europe and beyond. By inviting students, staff and faculty within higher education to engage in various forms of storytelling, 'Changing Our Story: The Pursuit of Inclusive Education' strives to remove the illusion behind what it takes to build inclusive principles within class settings.
