One of the outcomes of the project is a 45 minute documentary displaying the collective journey of the project participants. Participating project staff from UWB, CPU, THUAS, and ISS will each document their learning journeys and experiences in their respective countries.
The first samples of the documentary will be presented in June 2023 in The Hague. It will be the opportunity to share our project progress with a wider audience.
Standard approaches generally show successful outcomes; the beautiful products that have been edited. The documentary we pursue will provide a story about the collective learning journey and the actual process, including all its triumphs and stumbling blocks.
One of the biggest obstacles in achieving inclusive learning environments is that the focus tends to be on “what” needs to be done, rather than “how”. Consequently, people tend to underestimate the work involved, or the intensity and complexity involved in doing inclusion work. This proves to be a consistent downfall in making a sustainable impact. Hence, the documentary will provide insight into the actual process and the hard work involved in becoming effective facilitators of inclusive learning environments.
