New contact person for inclusion and diversity at the University of West Bohemia
From September onwards, the University of West Bohemia (UWB / Západočeská univerzita) has established a new position: Contact Person for Inclusion and Diversity. This role is intended to offer students and staff a visible and accessible point of contact when facing issues related to inclusion, discrimination, or barriers to full participation.
The creation of this position builds directly on the project Changing our story: the pursuit of inclusive education, reinforcing the university’s commitment to fostering a respectful, safe, and inclusive academic environment. The contact person will provide discreet support, guidance, and referrals to relevant resources (such as counseling, support networks, or external organizations).
